This entire project was created using Blender as part of one of the largest and most comprehensive courses on the andrewfarid3d.com platform.
The concept started from a unique storyline developed from my imagination, with the goal of teaching multiple advanced techniques within the course. The project begins with detailed modeling of coffee beans, followed by creating a realistic coffee roaster, developing high-quality materials, and setting up professional lighting to bring the scene to life.
To enhance the VFX, I demonstrated how to animate the coffee beans using dynamic simulation tools inside Blender. The final animation was rendered in slow motion at 60 FPS, then exported in RAW format (OpenEXR) for cinematic color grading and enhancement in DaVinci Resolve, and finally edited into a complete polished scene.
To strengthen the concept and storytelling, I also used a real-world product from Wacaco MiniPresso as a visual reference and inspiration.
